Can you move with me? added 8-28-98 Original Author Unknown

Sung to: "Do Your Ears Hang Low"

Can you wiggle like a worm?
Can you squiggle? Can you squirm?
Can you flutter? Can you fly like a gentle butterfly?
Can you crawl upon the ground
Like a beetle that is round?
Can you move with me?

Can you flip? Can you flop?
Can you give a little hop?
Can you slither like a snake?
Can you give a little shake?
Can you dance like bee
Who is buzzing round a tree?
Can you move with me?

Fuzzy  Wuzzy, Creepy Crawly

Fuzzy wuzzy, creepy crawly
Caterpillar funny,
You will be a butterfly
When the days are sunny.

Winging, flinging, dancing, springing
Butterfly so yellow,
You were once a caterpillar,
Wiggly, wiggly fellow.

Roly-Poly Caterpillar

Roly-poly caterpillar (wiggle right pointer finger)
Into a corner crept, (place right pointer finger in left cupped hand)
Spun around himself a blanket (spin around)
Then for a long time slept. (place head on folded hands)
Roly-poly caterpillar (wiggle right pointer finger)
Wakening by and by, ("stretch" right pointer finger)
Found himself with beautiful wings
Changed to a butterfly. (flutter arms like wings)

Ants

Once I saw an ant hill with no ants about. (fingers curled under, concealed)
So I said, "Dear little ants, won't you come out?"
Then, as if the little ants had heard my call,
One, two, three, four, five come out? (as numbers are called, fingers are
extended)
And that was all!

The Swarm of Bugs

One little honeybee by my window flew; Soon came another bug – then there were two.

Two happy insects in the apple tree; One fly came buzzing up - then there were three.

Three busy buzzers starting to explore, A little ant crawled up to help - then there were four.

Four crawling bugs heading towards the hive; Here comes Mr. Spider and - then there were five.

Five tired insects with each other mix; Up flies a ladybug and then there were six

Six little bugs crawling straight towards heaven; Up hops a grasshopper and now there are seven

Seven little bugs waiting happily

I think I better run away because they are after me!
